A lot of functionality must be implemented for a custom security cache provider. It inherits abstract methods to save, retrieve, and set as expired IIdentity, IPrincipal, and IProfile objects. Each of the save methods also has an overload, which takes a token to identify that the security item has previously been saved. Much of the code you ll use in this example is borrowed from the CachingStoreProvider class. It inherits from the SecurityCacheProvider class, which is an abstract implementation of the ISecurityCacheProvider and IInstrumentationEventProvider interfaces.
